This year the Board of Directors of The Health Care Foundation is pleased to announce awards of grants totaling $2296,278 to the following recipients and programs.

  • The 1414 Club: $25,000.00 is awarded to provide funding to support drug and alcohol treatment meetings.
  • Community Health Partners: $22,000.00 is awarded to provide dentures for low income individuals within our community.
  • Community Health Partners: $100,000.00 is awarded to support expansion and operations of the Cowlitz Free Medical Clinic which provides health care for low income individuals within our community.
  • FISH of Cowlitz County: $120,000.00 to assist needy community members pay for emergency prescriptions, dental care and medical services.
  • Highlands Neighborhood Association: $15,460.00 is awarded to assist the organization provide neighborhood enrichment projects.
  • Life Works: $4,004.00 is awarded to purchase Sensory Integration Therapy Equipment.
  • The Progress Center: $9,814.00 is awarded to purchase Sensory Integration and Speech Therapy Equipment to assist in teaching children.

The Health Care Foundation is a local organization, founded to perpetuate the community’s investment in the Monticello Medical Center. Our mission is to promote the physical and mental health care of the people in our community. From its inception over 25 years ago nearly 11 million dollars have been distributed to local health care organizations.
